Weekend at Dali`s.

I never would have thought I`d ride a bike to my first exhibition abroad. But so I did. Me and my sister rented bikes for the weekend in Berlin, -and it was so refreshing and great to enter this Grand Opening on a super cool city bike! I can recommend it for the nerves.. :)

A few minutes to Grand Opening...

A few minutes to Grand Opening...

I could have written two or three pages about this weekend, but I`m sure you can imagine how this weekend was.... Quite surreal as the master artist himself. Me and my paintings at the Salvador Dali Museum. I still have to pitch my arm...

The four lucky ones who stayed the whole weekend at Dali`s house!

On Friday the 18th of September was the Grand Opening for the great exhibition with me, the artists from around the world, -and dr. Folco from Folco Gallery, Italy. It was quite an experience to see my work on one wall and the work of mr. Dali himself on the opposite wall. There were also a picture of him just across the room so it almost felt like he was watching my paintings, and starring right into my painted eye....!

My dear mom and I. Lucky for me I got my parents and my sister with me to share this unbelievable experience.

Detail. And amazing detail I would say, with my name below the Dali museum logo.

After the Grand Opening me and my family went out to celebrate... What a day. What an evening. What an unbelievable happening.

Day 2.

Day 2.

As I walked through the museum, surrounded by Salvador Dali´s early work, I could still hear the words from the old lady who told me on my Grand Opening at the gallery Pingvin; "Congratulations on going to Berlin, Henriette. It is truly amazing! Did you know that Edvard Munch never got to exhibit in Berlin, -the great city of art... He was never good enough!" Ok, I´ve pinched my arm again....

Day 3. The last day. Dali, my painting and I. That´s pretty cool!

It´s a wrap! My dad helps me packing the paintings for a safe trip back to Norway...

You can almost see it in my face.... It`s like I don`t believe what I am a part of.

There are some days when I think I’m going to die from an overdose of satisfaction.

I could´t leave before I had taken a "Dalifie" / selfie with the master himself.

-Thank you mr. Dali for a wonderful weekend! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!                   I´ll be back! <3
