Ouch. I`ve just pinched my arm.

If someone had told me last year; "Good luck with your paintings at the Dali museum in Berlin, Henriette!" I would have laughed and answered "Yeah right...", -but it`s true.

Me and four of my paintings will spend the weekend at the Salvador Dali museum with 60 other artists from around the world. Amazing artists from Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Algeria, Germany, France, Japan, Brazil, Great Britain, Romania, ...and me from Norway.

Me. In Berlin. Me and my paintings in Berlin. Me and my paintings in the same building as Dali`s paintings.  Double-ouch. I had to pinch my arm again.

The paintings have been framed by Taberna Ramme with a beautiful black list with a thin golden edge in front.

I have loved Dali`s work since I was young. The details, the crazy, surreal motives and the light brushstrokes. For me personally his paintings are too colorful, because I`m all into the earthy palette, but still his paintings has found their way to my heart.

Last year I went to the Prado museum in Madrid, and when I entered the room with some of Dali`s paintings I instinctively got tears in my eyes. I was so moved and touched to see his work in real life.

-And that`s what it`s all about isn`t it with art. It touches you in a way you can`t describe. You just know when you love it.

I`m really excited to see everybody elses work, and of course how the people at the magazine Italia Arte, Folco Gallery and MIIT International Italia Arte Museum will set this exhibition together!

I am beyond thrilled. Berlin, here I come! <3
